Empathetic

At the age of 11 Kendon fell three stories off a building.   The injuries were extensive and he broke many, many bones.   Doctors told him he would likely never walk again.  Not only did he relearn how to walk after a year of difficult and painful rehabilitation but he went on to become a heavily recruited high school athlete and played both University football and basketball.  Kendon more than understands what it is like to be hurt, the impact it has on families and the difficult road to recovery.   He also gets the psychology behind risky behavior, the lies we tell ourselves and the end results of that deception.  Last, he more than understands perseverance and overcoming obstacles to achieve success.

EXPERIENCED

Dr. Dressel has worked on boats, helicopters, heavy equipment, trains and even tundra buggies.  He has done work on farms, forests, mountains, laboratories, hospitals, construction sites, industrial plants, petrochemical plants, sporting venues etc.   He has worked as an EH&S professional, blaster, shooter, EMT, fire fighter, doctor, lab technician, environmental monitor, construction worker, farm hand, landscaper, editor, artist, coach and teacher.   Dr. Dressel knows how to dissect a human body, how to conduct an air mountain rescue and the finer points in handling and detonating explosives.  In short, he has experience in a lot of different areas that hopefully will provide a benefit to those he works with.

INNOVATIVE

Dr. Dressel was one of the leaders and innovators in stretching programs for the construction industry.  He was involved in the development of the first remote digital field inspection application – performed on the original Palm Pilot - something that later became industry leading DBO2 SafetyNet.  Dr. Dressel also created a simple but effective tool that measures leading indicators and real time implementation of safety programs and processes.   The ability to be creative and come up with solutions and thrive where people say things can’t be done is invaluable.

PRINCIPLED

Life is too short to compromise one’s values for the pursuit of things.   Dr. Dressel does what he says he is going to do - always.   Honesty, integrity, discipline and character are more than just words to him and he has built his career and lived his life by these principles.  He is someone who is trustworthy, straight forward, and provides open and honest communication to his clients.   His advice is always based on what is in the best interest of the client, even if that advice is not in his best interests.   As a doctor, having people place their trust in him for their health and livelihood was a huge responsibility and honor and something he never took lightly.  Dr. Dressel treats his current clients with the same level of care, concern and diligence.

ACHIEVER

Dr. Dressel takes a tremendous amount of pride in the work he does and is very goal oriented.   Never making the same mistake twice, nearly every one of his undertakings has had success.   He has led numerous organizations to injury free and 'best in class' results, saving them millions of dollars along the way.   Dr. Dressel does not get distracted, maintains his focus on the end goal and delivers.

DETAIL ORIENTED

Details matter and Dr. Dressel treats a project much like he would a patient, taking the time to understand the motives, culture and nature.   Diagnosis is key, small details are extremely vital and having the wrong diagnosis is wasteful and careless.   As an educator he has always felt that it was important for his patients/clients to understand their condition, their options and the solutions and he takes the time to ensure that they have all the information they need to make decisions and also all the tools to be self-sufficient.   As a partnership, he works with them to implement the solutions and get them on the right path.  If he can’t help then Dr. Dressel works with them to find someone who can.
